Chloé Morietti is a visual artist. She graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld academy in 2024.
Her practice is film-based. During her studies in the VAV (Moving Image) department, she worked mainly on experimental video projects but also costume, painting and installation. Her aesthetic is colorful and symbolic. She plays with the boundary between realism and surrealism: a dream image intruding into a realistic film, a sudden vision disrupting the existing order.
On set, she wants to work in an organic and intuitive way with actors. Their suggestions are always welcome. For her, it is crucial to build trust within the team and ensure that the filming space is a safe, open, and respectful environment.
